Logline
Seven ethically-challenged mortgage brokers try to survive the housing slump while being micromanaged by a bi-polar boss in 1,500 square feet of B-class office space.
Short Synopsis
Mild mannered, Rick Anderson is one of seven mortgage brokers working for True Blue Loans, a high pressure, privately-owned brokerage firm owned by an eccentric man who is never seen. Rick, unlike his co-brokers, is uncomfortable with his boss’s unethical use of fear tactics to exploit desperate homeowners who are one step away from foreclosure. The other brokers include: A homophobic pretty boy with a mother fixation, a disagreeable ex-stripper, a judgmental born again Christian, an obsessive-compulsive woman fed up with men, a middle-aged pervert and a chain smoking, paranoid conspiracy theorist. Each of them have their own unique methods of selling a very bad product. When the boss sends his new wife, a psychotic ex-motivational trainer to turn up the heat because sales are down, the brokers are pushed to their individual breaking points and must decide how far they will allow themselves to be pushed.
